Picanha Brazilian Steak House

Picanha Brazilian Steak House started in Burbank, CA in 2000 and added a second location in Palm Desert in 2006. The Palm Desert building was scheduled for demolition so a new location in Cathedral City, CA was selected. The new site was a remodel of a non-restaurant space which required extensive plumbing, HVAC, and electrical changes. A complete new kitchen was installed using some existing and some new equipment and fixtures. Due to the timing imposed by the demolition of the existing facility, completion of this space in record time was critical to the Owner’s business plan. This fast-track project required very close coordination and planning to meet the deadline. Many decisions were made on-site by the Project Team and facilitated by the subcontractors chosen for their expertise in this type of construction. Primus completed its work under budget and on schedule with Picanha opening for business in May, 2008.
