This modern-style retail building is situated on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Elena Blvd in beautiful Redondo Beach, CA.  The project included demolition of existing structures and consumed every inch of the property from curb to curb on this busy corner.  Primus was instrumental in value-engineering the front of this building to meet planning requirements and still remain within the Owner’s budget.  The structure is actually wood framed with extensive steel fabrication at the radius storefront, which extends from floor grade to the top of the parapet.  The rounded columns at the building corners are clad in a special order slate stone.  Primus also completed site concrete and asphalt paving at the rear of the building.
