PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

During his 30-year career in the construction industry, Tom has worked in all aspects of construction and has become an expert at managing multiple large construction projects concurrently.   He has extensive experience with producing and maintaining CPM schedules, the formulation of project budgets, supervising field personnel, reviewing plans and specs, strategic planning, and estimating.   Tom's ability to manage and coordinate the entire construction process, monitor and enforce safety rules, and ensure Quality Control, all while staying on budget and schedule, makes him invaluable.

In 1973, Tom founded an industrial concrete and steel construction company, Crow Wing Construction.   His experience with Crow Wing has made him a specialist in site work, concrete and steel construction.   Tom's job history includes a ten-year stint as a construction executive and project manager with the Federal Contracting Group of M.A. Mortenson Company.   The varied types of projects he has worked on include coal and taconite processing plants, aircraft hangers, assisted living centers, schools, medical facilities, retail shops, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and hotels and resort facilities.

Tom's broad construction knowledge and experience gives him an exceptional understanding of what is required of members of his team and enables him to lead them effectively.   He resolves problems and concerns without the "finger pointing" that is so often prevalent in the construction process.   In addition, Tom is very computer literate and an expert in using Primavera's P3, Meridian's Prolog Manager, Timberline's Gold Accounting Software and Microsoft Office.
